Desde que eu li The Birthday List, eu queria ler a história da Molly. No início a Devney disse que não sabia se iria escrever essa história. Eu esperei, esperei mais um pouco, e finalmente ela disse que iria escrever. Agora, depois de devorar o livro de uma só vez, eu posso dizer que ele foi muito mais do que eu esperava. Ele foi uma novidade espetacular em um dos meus gêneros favoritos. Romances de Segunda Chance são um dos meus favoritos e agora Letters to Molly está no topo da lista. Letters to Molly was this kind of book for me. Since reading The Birthday List, I wanted to read Molly’s story. At first Devney said she didn’t know if it’d be written. I waited, and waited, and finally she said it’d happen. Now, after devouring it in one sitting, I can say it is so much more than I could hope. It’s a breath of fresh air in one of my favorite troupes in romance. Second chance Romances have always been a favorite of mine and Letters to Molly is now at the top of my list. The love, the heartbreak, the angst. The past, the present, the future. All of it. I cried, I laughed, I swooned, I hoped. This is a story of healing, of owning your mistakes and making an effort to be better. It’s a story how love strong enough can survive. How you can hope, but at the same time, how you have to work for what you want. It’s a story about a family. And I completely recommend that you read it. |
