\nHis arms tightened a little around me, and his hand rubbed over my leg. I was buck naked
\nin his arms. I should\u2019ve dressed, but I didn\u2019t have the energy.
\nHis breath felt good on my neck as he answered. \u201cI was up with the guys. I missed you.\u201d
\nMeaning: he\u2019d either been fighting or drinking with the group of guys he considered
\nmore family than family.
\nI lifted one of his hands to inspect the knuckles, rubbing a thumb over them. \u201cThey don\u2019t

\nChanning had a face for the fashion runways, a body of tattoos that could appear in any
\nmagazine, and an attitude that made him a leader among the rowdiest and most criminally
