Eu chorei mais de uma vez lendo esse livro e acho que voc\u00ea deveria l\u00ea-lo sem muitas informa\u00e7\u00f5es, por isso minha resenha foi bem vaga. It’s the kind of book that you be with you for a long long time. Where you think about it, about the consequences of your choices and what could have been different.<\/p>\n It’s my first book by Samantha, but will not be the last. She has a gift with words and emotions. I cried more than one time while reading this book and think you should read it without any kind of spoiler or profound information about this story, so my review is really vague on purpose. I was just reaching for Killian\u2019s tee when his office door opened. \u201cAre you read\u2014\u201d <\/span><\/p>\nWe both froze.<\/span><\/p>\nMe in my bra and jeans.<\/span><\/p>\nHis lips parted, not even hiding that he was taking in every inch of me. I flushed all over.<\/span><\/p>\nKillian cursed under his breath and then slammed his office door shut so no one would see me from the hall while finally turning his back to me. He sounded hoarse when he spoke. \u201cSorry. I thought you\u2019d be dressed by now.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cMy wrist was hurting,\u201d I lied. \u201cI needed a minute.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nThat was all it took to make him move. He shrugged it down slowly, as if savoring those moments of naked skin.<\/span><\/p>\nMy breath caught as his fingers brushed the sides of my breasts and my eyes flew to his as he pulled the T-shirt down excruciatingly slowly, caressing my skin with it. Those dark eyes smoldered.<\/span><\/p>\nThen somehow, we were standing closer, our bodies almost touching. Excitement tingled between my legs and I felt my nipples peak against the fabric of my bra.<\/span><\/p>\nA flush crested Killian\u2019s cheeks and his chest rose and fell in shallow breaths.<\/span><\/p>\nI forgot everything.<\/span><\/p>\nWhere I was.<\/span><\/p>\nWho I was.<\/span><\/p>\nWho he was.<\/span><\/p>\nAll I could think about was the way my skin prickled to electrified life under his touch. I wanted him to kiss me. I wanted him to push me up against his desk, rip my jeans off, and thrust into me.<\/span><\/p>\nMy breath shuddered at the thought and Killian\u2019s eyes blazed even hotter, as if he\u2019d been able to read my mind.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cSir, Mr. Byrne would like to speak with you!\u201d Eve\u2019s voice called through the door and shattered the moment.<\/span><\/p>\nKillian stumbled back. His hands dropped from my waist, allowing the T-shirt to fall. <\/span><\/p>\nI tried to catch my breath as he whirled away from me. \u201cJust \u2026 Just a second,\u201d he called back.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cKillian \u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nHe glanced over his shoulder at me, his expression unreadable. \u201cI\u2019m Killian again?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nConfused, I blinked. \u201cWhat?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nExhaling heavily, he shook his head. \u201cNothing.\u201d Then his nostrils flared as he stared at me. I glanced down at myself. His T-shirt drowned me.
